About

Dr. Adrienne Little, Psy.D., Licensed clinical psychologist

Throughout my career, I realized that I do lots of things competently, but I do some things exceptionally well. I decided to focus on getting even better at those things. I love working with motivated clients who have specific issues bringing them into therapy, rather than a desire to simply explore, do deep trauma work, or just discuss general issues as they arise in session. I expanded my training to narrow in on solution-focused brief therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, all time-limited approaches.

Wait, does that mean I will feel rushed or that therapy with you is just a band-aid? Absolutely not! We work together to set and achieve your treatment goals and I often find that my clients and I both notice that it is time to graduate from treatment around the same time. I will never end services with you solely because your “time is up.” That is both unprofessional and unethical. Also, my door is always open and I see clients come back with new issues or for check-ins months, or years, later.

Several studies have compared the effects of short-term therapy with longer treatments and found that brief therapies were roughly equally effective and had sustained outcomes comparable to those of longer therapies. In addition to managing the issues at hand, therapy with me builds resilience and empowerment. It also helps you develop the important skill of metacognition, which is the ability to think about your thinking. These traits and abilities are therapeutic gifts that can last a lifetime.

Monique Campbell, MA, LMHCA, LPC

Monique is a warm, relatable therapist who creates a supportive space for clients to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and make meaningful changes. She works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, chronic stress, codependency, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. She especially enjoys supporting individuals who spend so much time holding everything together for others that they lose sight of their own needs and well-being.

Her professional journey reflects a longstanding interest in helping others. She earned an Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology from Robert Morris College before continuing her education at Governors State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her diverse background contributes to a thoughtful, whole-person approach to therapy.

Her therapeutic style is conversational, collaborative, and grounded in genuine connection. She believes change begins when clients feel safe enough to show up authentically without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. Using evidence-based approaches, thoughtful questions, practical tools, curiosity, and a little humor, she helps clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck while building on their existing strengths.

Monique helps clients move beyond simply “going through the motions” toward lives that feel more intentional and aligned with what matters most. Therapy may include exploring unhelpful patterns, strengthening relationships and boundaries, developing healthier ways to manage stress, and reconnecting with oneself.

Above all, Monique strives to make therapy feel human. Clients can expect a comfortable, affirming, and supportive environment that combines genuine connection with intentional clinical care. Her goal is to help clients develop greater insight, confidence, and practical tools for creating meaningful change. Schedule a consultation with her today.  She is usually able to get clients started on their therapy journey in as little as  3-5 business days.
